Zany or fantasy-ridden hyperactives, the Faltazi tandem from Nantes are atypical and plan on remaining so. On one hand Victor Massip, designer- mechanic trained in urbanism. On the other Laurent Lebot, graphic designer usually to be found in the science-fiction section of book stores, where he feeds on the works of Bill Sienkiewicz. Together they produce fest-noz posters, helmets for cyclists, aircraft cockpits and imaginary objects that, ideally, will be fleshed out when 3-D printers have been perfected. Monitors of techniques and sniffer-outers of evolutions, the Faltazians are imaginative inventors who re-transcribe into reality concepts that blend aesthetics, usage, technology...
