’Lianes’ is a sort of playful choreography, never tormented even it is appears to be knotty. ’Bas reliefs’ recalls monochrome pictorial abstraction, its triptychs evoke an ageless history spreading from one panel to the other. Red and black, honey and amber - the whole work depends on four fundamental tones. ’Cuves’ uses them, as if it harked back to the witches’ cauldron in ’Macbeth’. They are also the colours of these monumental and spell-binding pieces, which are totems or Celtic stones. ’Un monde de bois’ exists before our eyes. It testifies and transmits. It makes space more liveable and warm. Each element is vibrant and offers the never-varying quality of life.
