The south and the sun occupy a large space in my heart and in my morale. This is why I’d like people who live in Paris or in any other big city, and who don’t have a warm climate or this state of mind, to be able to import a piece of sun into their lives in the furniture or decoration objects in their sitting room.
For me this means creating products that offer comfort and a Mediterranean sensitivity, but which retain a conventional and urban aspect too.
For seating, pieces can be positioned anywhere; they are warm, colourful and highly contrasted (between formal simplicity and the richness of materials). They must exude an atmosphere that suggests easy living, serenity and a certain happiness.
My ambition in my work consists in proposing translations of this world, of its possible adaptation to ours: products that belong resolutely to today but which have a clear heritage.
