P.B was born on Brittany in 1962. He came to New York City in 1987 with the desire to become a furniture designer. His dream came true when after a few months spent in a shop as a woodworker, he branched out on his own and in eight years designed and builted three different collections. These collections refered to both age-old savoir faire and new technologies, sublimating the authenticity of natural materials and rejecting ostentation in favor of sensuality, while maintaining the exellence of a "high finish".This period also saw him dabbling in interior design - laying out apartments and boutiques in Manhattan which in turn led to his involvement in architecture. For P.B there is only one step from interior design to architecture. This is the concept of security and comfort.A space must be designed for the Hedonists of Tomorrow¹ - an intimate shelter with positive energies built in.The concept he put into practice as project manager of a building renovation on 86th St. and more recently in Tribeca, for
Sanba, Inc. a design and development consultants. Of course, all this does not distract him from his primary passion of designing and creating individual objects. Last year, his lamp-Plug In¹ - exclusively designed for Ligne Roset, won two awards at the Furniture Fair in Paris. Now P.B unveils his latest creation ¹Bits¹ an aluminum chair and cabinet designed to house your computer system, and ¹Colombo¹ a multy fonction Loundge chair. The beauty of his design is that it works in any given space that is subject to a set of constantly evolving constraints.P.B has been living Betwen New york City and Paris since five years and is awaiting is duo Citizen ship.
