When I’m designing an object, the first thing I try to do is to see everyday things and user habits in a new way. At the same time, I have constantly in mind the precept that ’the only good idea is one that’s simple’.
Born 1975 at Colombes, France
Lives and works between Strasbourg and Paris.
After graduating from the ENSCI-Les Ateliers in 2000, he set up as an independent the following year, working for interior decoration offices doing layouts for hotels, restaurants and casinos. In parallel he was commissioned to do the scenography for exhibitions (’20 ans de VU’ à Paris’), and open air operas (Festival des Baux de Provence). He also designed jars and flasks for cosmetics and fragrances.
In 2006 he began creating original designs for furniture, which led him to concentrate on the place of books and reading in habitat.
