Creation of furniture, objects, scenographies...

"My work tends to explore precise relationships between body movement, form and object.
Cut, fold, weave, mould, assemble, twist, etch…
Using these simple actions, repeated, elaborated, I propose to design and produce objects, from the most basic to the most sophisticated, and from the most strict economy to the decorative.
My aim is to make things liveable.
To create space and freedom, make objects that induce body movements, attitudes, sensations and images.
To re-think the space of objects and create new relationships, new functions.
Either by a shortfall or weakness, as when the void opens the way to new liberty.
Or by an extrusion of the production process, in which repetition of the motif invades space.
The end result is that the object is no longer seen as an entity but as a fragment of a much larger suite, perhaps even an endless ensemble.
I like it when something becomes something else, and so on.
This is the sort of open-endedness that I lay claim to, and which helps me respond to precise contexts.
