Kirsten Hoppert and Steffen Kroll got to know each other during their studies of Interior and Industrial design at the University of Art and Design in Halle. They shared the same ideals and enthusiasm for ’beautiful things with a high and funktional value’. "If our products help make people sensitive, then we have reached at least one of our ideals", they say.
From this conviction and an emotional passion they develop their ideas. Both designers are interested in everything with a sculptural dimension - a three-dimensional aspect. Besides, it is a big pleasure for them to work in various design sectors - from space architecture up to book illustration. Their ideas are based on a cheerful relationship with things and processes of every kind and they develop them strictly respecting the standard time. Hence, ’dreaming’ and the ’fantastic representation of life’ are important components of the product development process - they call ’planned intuition’.
