WORK ORIENTATION

It is in my all-white studio located in Ixelles that my objects take off. I’m constantly moving between art and technology, between typology and function. I oscillate between sensitivity and usage. I work in a ‘bubble’ that enables me to create objects without any external image. My aim is to create surprise, the unexpected, beauty and meaning.
Every day the pleasure of creating encourages me to push my intentions into concrete form. My time is my own and each day is a sequence of ‘stories’ that I tell to myself to achieve my perfect object, which will later be offered to you.
I create, assemble, look, colour, take away, add, meet, confront, shake, analyse, test, hate, love, … Each of these verbs is at work in my creations, they are what gives meaning to objects.
